The EndTobacco® team from The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center recently attended the American Nonsmokers' Rights Foundation (ANRF) Clearing the Air® Institute, a national conference dedicated to smoke-free policies. EndTobacco® Executive Director, Jennifer Cofer, Dr.P.H., M.P.H., C.H.E.S., was invited to join a panel alongside the Truth Initiative and ANRF, discussing tobacco-free and smoke-free college and universities. Eliminate Tobacco Use (ETU) Initiative resources were shared with participants who attended from across the nation.
The ETU Initiative and EndTobacco® team remain committed to supporting and engaging institutions of higher education as they adopt tobacco-free policies, increase tobacco treatment services on campus and continue to educate their campus population on the harms of all tobacco and nicotine products.
