Intiative Overview
The Eliminate Tobacco Use Initiative was founded by The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and The University of Texas System in 2015. The national initiative grew out of foundational work in Texas as the initiative’s first state site. The primary aim of the initiative is to address tobacco use across colleges and universities and more effectively contribute to actions that create a tobacco-free culture.
