Day Of Event
- Parking at UTSW: Parking is available in the garage next to the T. Boone Pickens Biomedical Building located at 6001 Forest Park Rd, Dallas, TX, 75235. The parking entrance is on the right-hand side after you turn into the circle driveway off Forest Park Rd. Parking will be validated for attendees for each day of the Summit. You can enter the T. Boone Pickens on the 3rd floor of the parking garage. The registration desk will be outside room NG3.112.
- Shuttle/Uber/Lyft: Please have your driver drop you off in the passenger drop off circle located at 6001 Forest Park Rd, Dallas TX 75235. Enter the building through the glass doors into the building and turn left. Signs will be located prominently directing you to our Conference area.
- Taxi: If you wish to use a taxi from the airports and/or to UT Southwestern, the following are a few taxis that service both airports: Alamo Cab Company, Cowboy Cab Company, United Cab Company, Yellow Cab Company.

Eliminate Tobacco Use Summit 2023 COVID-19 Safety
Participant health and safety is our highest priority. We are committed to following guidelines set forth by UT Southwestern, the city of Dallas, and the CDC regarding COVID-19 and other public health concerns. As the summit approaches, leadership will be monitoring the status of the pandemic. Several considerations are outlined below as reminders for those attending the 8th annual Eliminate Tobacco Use Summit in-person.
- It is always recommended to practice appropriate hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette.
- While wearing a mask is encouraged, they will not be required to attend this event.
- If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms or are feeling unwell in any way, you should not attend the summit. Please email EndTobacco@MDAnderson.org to cancel, with no penalties.
- Notify event organizers if you become diagnosed with COVID-19 within 10 days after attending the Eliminate Tobacco Use Summit
The Eliminate Tobacco Use Summit welcomes a variety of professionals working in higher education, professionals working in tobacco prevention, cessation, and policy, as well as community and non-profit partners whose mission aligns with that of Eliminate Tobacco Use. Summit organizers reserve the right to decline participant registration to any entity not meeting these inclusion criteria.
