Cigarette Clean Up at UTEP

In 2013, The University of Texas at El Paso became a tobacco-free campus. To demonstrate the impact cigarettes have on our environment, students, faculty and staff were invited to participate in a cigarette butt clean-up in the spring of 2018. Information on how tobacco affects our environment in a negative way was posted around campus. This event helps promotes the value of respect toward our environment and the focus on health and wellness among our community.
